(I wish they'd call me Lola).
I know you are thinking, "Seriously, another make your life better blog?" Yeah, I know. But this is different, I promise. I am not going to goop you, nor bug you with how picture perfect my life is. Which brings me to...
Disclaimer: My life is a like a rave full of squirrels hopped up on some ecstasy they accidentally found in the right garbage can. I may take a pretty picture on occasion with some green food or tell you about the best beauty product in the world, but please don't think I have it all together or I'm getting all higher-than-thou (I hate that). I'm just going to show you some cool shit and see how you feel about it. Or we'll chat about a lesson learned. Also, I swear a fair deal. If we start this relationship, I feel like you should know that going in.
So anyway, here's my story. As I rounded my thirties, I started thinking about the product of my life. Did it reflect who I am? Was I accomplishing those things that I had always dreamed of doing? If my life was an art gallery, what would be in it and how would I feel walking through it? Would I be inspired? Would it spark emotion and thought-provoking conversation? Damn my beautiful brain!
Once I really thought about it, I realized I'd want to live in about 30% of my gallery. At that moment I realized I had to change everything about my life and focus on curating my life as I would a gallery I would never tire of living in. But a gallery that serves tacos, brownies, and tequila. Maybe (definitely) some bourbon too. And like, kale salad (don't judge me, it can be wonderful).
Please come with me on my journey as I curate my life. You can check out my diary for the touchy-feely stuff, but read the articles for more on tips on how to curate your life, foodie goodness, style, travel, wellness hacks, current events, and just random stuff that comes to mind.
I hope this working website inspires you to explore new places, try new things, and bring bliss to your every day. Feel free to leave a comment or follow me on social media!
